Thursday 8th June 2017: ‘SoulArt Exhibition – Private Viewing’, Theta Healthy Eating Cuisine – Gluten Free Restauran, Limassol, 8.00pm
Join for a wonderful, artistic summery evening, at the opening of SoulART Exhibition “Private Viewing” and meet with the Artist.. Catt Kyriacou an artist known for her unique, almost magical, fairy style, will be exhibiting at Theta Healthy Eating Cuisine, presenting a fusion of her art, so you can get a glimpse of her ethereal work throughout the years, giving you the opportunity to open a doorway to the magic of your own world. Sunday 9th June 2017: ‘Michalis Hatzigiannis’, Kolossi Castle, Limassol, 7.30pm:
The HIV/AIDS Support Center K.Y.F.A. organises an event with the popular Cypriot singer Michalis Hatzigiannis at the medieval Kolossi Castle.
All net proceeds will be allocated to K.Y.F.A. The event is under the auspices of Mrs Andri Anastasiadis, the wife of the President of the Republic of Cyprus.

Sunday 9th June 2017: Pafos2017, ‘Don Gnu’, Kennedy Square, Paphos, 8.30am – 9.30pm:
This is an innovative artistic group based in Denmark which uses in its productions, evidence of physical theater, dance and cinema, seeking a lasting exceeded the limits between artistic genres. The group, moving with the same ease and the three types of its field thanks to the three artistic directors, Jannik Elkær, Kristoffer LA Pedersen and Christoffer Brekne, which deal with the respective modes of expression. In an interactive action settles in the city center a disc – an installation of large dimensions, which is the basis for the interactive group – catalyzing the most unequivocal manner the limits and separations. Diorgananonoun the European Capitals of Culture 2017 Pafos2017 and Aarhus in collaboration with Dance House Lemesos.
Sunday 9th June 2017: Pafos2017, ‘7th European Music Forum’, Old Power Paphos, 9.00am – 6.00pm:
Music and Cultural Diplomacy Connecting Continents – Bridging Cultures. This year’s edition of the European Forum ca Music is compatible with the Annual Conference of IAMIC, the International Association of Music Information Centers and consider how civil society initiatives involved in the “music industry and cultural diplomacy.”The event is organised jointly by the European Music Council (EMC) and (IAMIC) and hosted by the European Capital of Culture – Pafos2017. To Forum is not open to the public.

Wednesday 14th June 2017: Pafos2017, ‘The Gardens of Aphrodite’, Ancient Odeon Paphos, 8.30am – 10.00pm:
Logos, animations and themed images enrich his music Akamas Duo and invite the public to an audiovisual tour of the “Gardens of Aphrodite”, reviving fantasy stories, images and aromas of the goddess birthplace. Traditional songs alternated with music and with melodies of Astor Piazzola and Jules Massenet, creating a spectacular sight. Editing music, the orchestration and interpretation have Nikolas Kyriakou and Jason Keramidis, the directorial diligence Minas Tigkilis, scenography-visual editing Giorgos Papadopoulos and costumes, Rena Perdiki. Narrative and movement is Stephanie Mavrokordatou and participate Bianca Tofarides, Panaretos Neophytou Elena Irodotou, Kristia Iereidi, Michael and Nadia Pericles Georgiades. Free entrance
Ongoing Friday 19th May 2017 – Sunday 30th July, 2017: Pafos2017, ‘Pafos: Myth, History, Landscape’, Palia Ilektriki, Paphos, 10.00am. to 7.00pm
The exhibition is a tribute to the town of Pafos for the European honour that was attributed to it. The first objective was to present the landscape. From the landscape the exhibition leads to myths, with Aphrodite dominating as a symbol. The historical references go along with the myth.
Ongoing Monday 29th May 2017 – Monday 21st August 2017: Pafos2017, ‘Archaeomusica’, Archaeological Park Kato Pafos , Paphos, 8.30am – 5.00pm :
An exhibition that shows that… “Music is the ‘sound’ evidence of the common roots of European cultures”. Music can reveal facts about ancient civilizations, since it has created a network of relationships and points of contact among us long before we became aware of our common identity in Europe.
The exhibition, which includes multimedia features and interactive installations with the use of 3D technology, allows the visitor to admire and fully experience the astonishing world of the ancient musical instruments and the amazing journey through time and space, beginning from the origins of European musical tradition. The exhibition, which tours Europe, stops in Pafos this summer. The mosaics of the Roman music scenes depicted here were the inspiration for the exhibition in Cyprus. A guided tour of the exhibition will take place on the evening of the inauguration, as well as music event based on Manos Hadjidakis.
Ongoing Friday 5th May 2017 – Sunday 4th June, 2017: Pafos2017, Hazardous Travel, Old Power Paphos, 4.00pm. to 7.00pm
It is a dual exhibition with works by Andy Hatziadamou and Baki Bogac Cypriot artists, which ypomnimatizei a true story, indicative of the force is the art of transcending the barriers and borders. The Baki Bogac, architect and sculptor, discovered and saved sculptures, paintings, photographs and other objects which Andy Hatziadamou had left in Famagusta, when Greek Cypriot inhabitants of the city were expelled in 1974. After two decades in 1993, artworks that looked the Baki all this time, finally surrendered to Andy Hatziadamou family in Paphos. The tragic irony is that Andy had died in 1990 aged just 54 years. Since then, his family maintains a close relationship with Baki Bogac which invited in Paphos, on the occasion of the Cultural Capital of Europe, to meet for the first time, even mentally, the Andy Hatziadamou in a joint report. Free entrance
Ongoing: 23th April- 31st August 2017: ‘Eco Art’ Paphos2017, Lower Arodes down Arodes Paphos, 12.00pm-7.00pm:
The Eco Art is one of the most ambitious projects of the ECOC 2017 Paphos with cultural and ecological vision for Cyprus and Europe. With the subtitle: “Paths to a common ground – Works on site”, invited artists create works on natural areas and communities of Akamas. The Eco Art will highlight the relationship between Art and Nature, will open a dialogue on critical issues and create an important legacy in contemporary Cyprus art. Free entrance
Ongoing: 8th April- 25th November 2017: ‘Terra Mediterranea: In Action’ Paphos2017, Cave Fabrica, Apostolou Pavlou Paphos & Medieval Castle of Paphos, 10.00am-7.00pm :
A project that includes a large modern art exhibition in Nicosia and Paphos, an international conference and a series of parallel actions involving a large number of artists from Cyprus and other countries. The ‘Terra Mediterranea: In Action’ seeks to detect, investigate and present the terms of contemporary artists around today’s generalized landscape of economic, political, religious, social, and deeply existential crisis of identity through a “Mediterranean” look, politics and simultaneously poetic.
