Cyprus has a wonderful climate for cycling, particularly in the autumn and spring and fantastic roads to boot.  In homage to this we shall feature some blog posts on routes that our cyclists might fancy trying.

First up, it’s the ‘Love Cyprus’ (Cyprus Tourism Organisation) Cycle Route 1 of Troodos Cycling Routes.

This route (total distance of 57.1km) can be broken into 3 smaller partial routes, essentially starting in Psilo Dendro (Platres) passing through Karvounas, Prodromos and then finishing back in Psilo Dendro.  CLICK HERE to download the Love Cyprus Route 1 brochure which is a great & comprehensive guide of full route details, including road surface info, altitudes, maps and more!

Don’t have your bike with you?  Don’t worry – bike hire can easily be arranged from ‘Mountain Bike Cyprus‘ who are located just 10 minutes from Aphrodite Hills Resort.  Visit their website HERE.
